SEIS

The main output of the RÉPENER research project is the SEIS –Semantic Energy Information System– which provides qualified energy information to enable different stakeholders –architects and engineers, energy consultants, public administrations in charge of energy certificates stakeholders, building owners and facilities managers –to improve the decision-making process in their respective realms –from design to construction and refurbishment. There are four types of energy information services which have been implemented in SEIS:

  • to provide examples of energy efficient buildings;
  • to facilitate performance benchmarks;
  • to identify energy efficient design and operation  patterns, and
  • to upload building simulations.

Each service is customized to the needs of four user profiles: design team, facilities manager, building owner and energy consultant.

SEIS can be enhanced with new data sources which can be linked to the data available in the current prototype.
